With the help of a generous donor, Spring has certainly arrived at the Saul and Claribel Simkin Centre. These flowers were donated by a family of one of our residents. The dozen or so potted Spring flowers were left over from their function. After the function, they thought that maybe our residents would enjoy them, which they did. Walking through our Atrium you can smell the fresh scent. We appreciate this generous gesture. It isn’t the first time, though. Throughout the year, we’ve been given flower arrangements left over from weddings, socials, Bat Mitzvahs, Bar Mitzvahs, etc. The residents are so uplifted by the life these flowers give to the Centre. Please consider donating your flowers to the Centre next time you have a special event. The residents, families, staff, and visitors thank you.

Cindy, our Manager of TR and Support Services, taught English at the ELMA School in Cambodia. Here, Mensch is posing with one of the teachers.

Cindy and Mensch had a great time caring for the elephants. The elephants are protected and loved at this elephant village in Surin, Thailand.
