Minute to Win it – With Love
Yesterday was “Wear Red/Pink” day. One of the fun activities taking place at the Centre was held on Simkin 1. With the help of staff, family and companions, residents played “Minute to Win It”. Competitors were given 1 minute to accomplish each challenge.
One of our residents, Alan Walder, was upset there was nowhere to buy his wife a Valentine’s card. They won the prize at the minute to win it games. Alan reached across the table to give it to his wife, Bernice AND asked her, “will you be my Valentine”? He almost had the rest of us crying, and Bernice was thrilled!
