The Young Bring Laughter to the Simkin Centre
The grade 4 and 5 class from Linden Meadows School visited Weinberg 2 on May 24th.
The Residents were paired with 2-3 students to make up teams for a challenging and competitive Spelling Bee. The “buzz” in the room was electric as the students and residents worked together to spell words such as phenomenon, successfully and vocabulary…to name a few.
Thank you to their teacher, Miss McGavin and our own Weinberg 2 nurse, Brenda McGavin, for organizing this wonderful afternoon.
We look forward to future visits, the smiles and joyous laughter the students bring to our home.
