Sara Hochman Continues to Share Her Gift of Music
Sarah Hochman is a talented pianist. She has shared her talent joyfully with the residents of the Home both at the Kanee Centre and at the Saul & Claribel Simkin Centre since 1958. She gave concerts as a soloist and on many occasions she accompanied others, both vocalists and instrumentalists. Sara was honoured by the Simkin Centre for her 50 years of volunteer service in 2009 at the Volunteer Appreciation Award Event. In 2014, she received the Shem Tov Award for her volunteerism. Today, she lives at the Simkin Centre. Pictured belowed is Sara doing what she does best, sharing her gift of music with those around her.
